On our Vocational Swedish course you learn the Swedish you need to work in your chosen profession, or to allow you to go on to further studies in Sweden. Parts of the course can be carried out at a workplace alternated with theory lessons at Eductus.

Learn Swedish! We offer various kinds of courses in the Swedish language. If you are new to Sweden, we offer the Swedish for immigrants (SFI). We also offer Swedish as a Second Language (SAS) at both basic and intermediate level.

Business Start-up course

Are you interested in entrepreneurship? Maybe you already have a business idea that you would like to develop? Thinking about starting your own business? Then our Business Start-up course could be for you. We can give you the skills and support you need to test your business idea and create your future business plan. Come and take the first step with us!

About the Business Start-up course

During the course you will be given support and guidance in developing your business idea and drawing up your own business plan. You will also be taught the theoretical and practical skills you need to start up your own business. Once you have completed the course you need to decide whether to go ahead with your business plan and take the first step towards starting your company. The course is full-time and lasts for 4–16 weeks. Together we design a training plan according to individual needs and previous knowledge.

Who is the course for?

Jobseekers who are registered with Arbetsförmedlingen (Public Employment Service). The course is aimed at people who are interested in starting up their own company.

Modules included:

From idea to business
We cover issues such as: Working out a business idea and creating a business plan, “Being an entrepreneur”, entrepreneurship and various types of company start-up, etc. Marketing for small businesses We cover issues such as: Brand, advertising, sales, market research, market and customer analysis, competitor analysis and customer care.

Business economics
We cover issues such as: Agreements, pricing, finances and basic business economics terms and types of financing.

Business administration
We cover issues such as: Tax and VAT accounting, invoicing, bookkeeping and insurance.

You will also learn about online businesses, taking over existing operations, gender equality and diversity, work environment and environmental issues, as well as self-employment.
